ISACA St.Louis SheLeadsTech and Allies Scholarship

 

This scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in IT Audit, Risk, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science in the Greater St Louis area. Please review the scholarship offering and criteria below, and apply today!

Scholarship Offering:

We will award academic scholarships of $2,500 each to three (3) students who meet the criteria below. Scholarship money will be disbursed directly to the awardee’s school in July 2026 for school-related costs and must be used for the school they are attending in 2026. Awardees will also receive an ISACA Career Building Bundle to help continue their education and launch their IT career.

Eligibility:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Be enrolled in a college or university in the greater St. Louis area.  
  3. Be pursuing an undergraduate (associate or bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s or PhD) degree.
  4. Be pursuing a degree in IT Audit, Risk, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  5. Have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA):
    • Undergraduate students: a minimum 2.7 (out of 4.0)
    • Graduate students: have a minimum 3.2 (out of 4.0).
  6. Provide a letter of recommendation.

How to Apply:

  1. Sign in or create a free ISACA account to apply. If you have applied for an ISACA Foundation scholarship before, you may sign in using that account.
  2. Complete the scholarship application (link above), including submitting any supporting information:
    1. Provide a letter of recommendation from an educator (ex. professor or academic councilor) or professional who you work closely with (ex. Employer or volunteer manager).

Recipient Commitments:

  1. Recipients must agree to attend at least one chapter event within 3 months of receiving the award.
  2. Recipients must agree to attend at least two chapter events (one SheLeadsTech and one Board event).
  3. Recipients must agree to start an ISACA Student Group.
  4. Recipients must agree to communicate with the ISACA Foundation twice a year for two years regarding school and career trajectory after the scholarship award.
  5. Recipients must agree to use the scholarship funds for:
    • Full-time enrollment
    • Part-time enrollment
    • Credit courses
    • Registration tuition and other school fees
    • School books, supplies, and essential technology.

ISACA Career Building Bundle:

  • One year of ISACA student membership (giving you access to career pathway and advancement events and webinars)
  • One ISACA certificate online review course from the options listed below. Read more about each on the ISACA website

  • One ISACA Virtual Conference registration (where you will benefit from speakers who are renowned experts in their fields)
  • ISACA’s Mentoring Program (giving you access to certified digital trust professionals as mentors)
  • Resources to start an ISACA Student Group at university/college (as applicable)
  • Access to additional ISACA and Foundation resources
