ISACA Cybersecurity Month Scholarship

Scholarship Offering:

Cybersecurity Awareness Month, every October, is dedicated to creating resources and communications to raise awareness about digital security and empower everyone to protect their personal data and stay safe online. In recognition of this initiative, we will award a US$2,500 academic scholarship for school-related costs to five (5) students, who meet the criteria below. Scholarship funds will be distributed between January and February 2027 and must be used for education-related expenses at the school the student will attend in 2027. For students attending an international school, funds will be paid directly to the student. For students attending a school in the United States, funds will be paid directly to the school. Awardees will also receive an ISACA Career Building Bundle to help continue their education and launch their IT career.

Eligibility:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or technical training institute.
  3. Be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a degree or an advanced degree focused on cybersecurity.
  4. Provide a letter of recommendation from an educator (ex. professor or academic councilor) or professional who you work closely with (ex. Employer or volunteer manager).

How to Apply:

  1. Sign in or create a free ISACA account to apply. If you have applied for an ISACA Foundation scholarship before, you may sign in using that account.
  2. Complete the scholarship application (link above), including submitting any supporting information.
    1. Proof of enrollment (if their school is International)
    2. Letter of recommendation

Recipient Commitments:

  1. Recipients must agree to attend at least one ISACA event (virtual or in-person) in 2027.
  2. Recipients must agree to communicate with the ISACA Foundation twice a year for two years regarding school and career trajectory after the scholarship award.
  3. Recipients must agree to use the scholarship funds for:
    • Full-time enrollment
    • Part-time enrollment
    • Credit courses
    • Registration tuition and other school fees
    • School books, supplies, and essential technology.
