ISACA Vancouver OneInTech Scholarship 

This scholarship is open to diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate students pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Audit, IT Compliance, or IT Governance at a college or university in the Greater Vancouver area. Please review the scholarship offering and criteria below, and apply today!

Scholarship Offering:

We will award academic scholarships of $2,000 each to 5 (five) selected students who meet the criteria below. Scholarship money will be disbursed directly to the awardee in July 2026 and must be used for the school they are attending in 2026. Awardees will also receive an ISACA Career Building Bundle to help continue their education and launch their IT career.

Eligibility:

1. Be 18 years of age or older.
2. Be enrolled in a college or university located in the Greater Vancouver Area.
3. Be pursuing a career in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Audit, IT Compliance, or IT Governance.
4. Be pursuing an undergraduate (two or four year), diploma or postgraduate (master’s or PhD) degree.
5. Have a minimum 3.00 (out of 4.0) Grade Point Average.
   • Note that this scholarship is contingent on maintaining the minimum GPA requirement. Transcripts will need to be provided once available to ensure continued eligibility.
6. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for DEI and showcase how they have made a measurable impact in promoting these values in their local community through volunteer work, school activities, or other meaningful efforts.

How to Apply:

1. Sign in or create a free ISACA account to apply. If you have applied for an ISACA Foundation scholarship before, you may sign in using that account.
2. Complete the scholarship application (link at the top), including submitting any supporting information:
   1. A reference letter from an educator or professional who you work closely with.

Recipient Commitments:

1. Agree to attend at least one chapter event within 3 months of receiving the award.
2. Agree to communicate with the ISACA Foundation twice a year for two years regarding school and career trajectory after the scholarship.
3. Agree to use the scholarship funds for:
   • Full-time enrollment
   • Part-time enrollment
   • Credit courses
   • Registration tuition and other school fees
   • School books, supplies, and essential technology.

ISACA Career Building Bundle:

• One year of ISACA student membership (giving you access to career pathway and advancement events and webinars).
• One ISACA certificate online review course from the options listed below. Read more about each on ISACA website.

• One ISACA Virtual Conference registration (where you will benefit from speakers who are renowned experts in their fields).
• ISACA’s Mentorship Program (giving you access to certified digital trust professionals as mentors).
• Resources to start an ISACA Student Group at your university or college (as applicable).
• Access to additional ISACA and ISACA Foundation resources.
