ISACA Philadelphia Chapter 2025 Scholarship  

 

This scholarship is open to associate, bachelor's, and master's students pursuing a degree related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Audit, IT Compliance, or IT Governance at a college or university in the Greater Philadelphia area. Scholarship Offering:

We will award academic scholarships of $1,500 each, to five selected students (3 undergraduate and 2 graduate students) who meet the criteria below. Scholarship money will be disbursed directly to the awardee’s school in July 2025, and scholarship funds must be used for tuition and school related costs at the school the recipient is attending in 2025. Awardees will also receive an ISACA Career Building Bundle to help continue your education and launch your IT career.

Criteria:

Applicants must:

  1. To apply, you first need a free ISACA account. If you have applied for an ISACA Foundation scholarship before, you may sign in using that account. 
  2. Be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Recipients of the ISACA Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship within the past 12 months are ineligible to apply again.
  4. Reside or attend school in the Greater Philadelphia geographic area (Within the following Pennsylvania Counties: Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Chester and Montgomery Counties; within the following New Jersey Counties: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem Counties; within New Castle County, DE).
  5. Be pursuing an associate, bachelor's or master's degree.
  6. Be pursuing a degree related to Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT Audit, IT Compliance, or IT Governance.
  7. Undergraduate student: have a minimum 3.00 (out of 4.0) Grade Point Average.
  8. Graduate student: have a minimum 3.25 (out of 4.0) Grade Point Average.
  9. Provide a reference letter from an educator or professional who you work closely with.
  10. Identify as a member of an underrepresented community in IT (this may include race, gender, ethnicity, veteran status, disability, etc.)
  11. Recipients agree to attend at least one ISACA event within 3 months of receiving the award.
  12. Recipients agree to communicate with the ISACA Foundation twice a year for two years regarding school and career trajectory after the scholarship.

ISACA Career Building Bundle:

    • One year of ISACA student membership (giving you access to career pathway and advancement events and webinars)
    • One ISACA course selected from the ITCA  or CET certification (completion of this course will help you get an ISACA certification that indicates a standard of skills to a prospective employer)
    • One ISACA Virtual Conference registration (where you will benefit from speakers who are renowned experts in their fields)
    • ISACA’s Mentorship Program (giving you access to certified digital trust professionals as mentors)
    • Resources to start an ISACA Student Group at your university or college (as applicable)
    • Access to additional ISACA and ISACA Foundation resources
